Onion, was ddos'd for a whole week, almost had to spend $150K on repairs, and as much as I'd like to get a VPN, my parents said no, for what ever reason..

You don't need to change your ISP, just ask them to give you a new ip then download a vpn like spotflux or HSS so your ip can't be found and you gucci

Flexy, I would ask them to change the ip but they blacklisted me from the internet bc cough thorraks cough ddos'd me for about a week, costing around 7.5K my isp said.. Apparently 65K servers targetted my modem, which overloaded the circuit, causing it to follow on to my isp, then it took them down for 3 days, which was weird.. :s So I'm trying my best. And, idk how it didn't burn the house down..

All it does is secure your connection and maybe increase your latency a little depending on where you live relative to your provider you chose
