shadowmere is crap if you have dawnguard there is a horse you get in the soul cairn that you summon and it can never die.

I just started, I have some crappy horse I jacked from a bandit xD
It keeps trying to leave me, and I accidentally hit it, so now when I'm not riding it, it hits me with it's hooves.
I'm about to give up on it.

just kill it then brawl the horse master in riften to get a free horse.
