His price has always been 4800... at least when I started back up again. was he 6300?? I can't imagine grinding that out back up there to 6300

Yeah he was 6300 when I bought him. Basically new champs are 6300, and they lower in price as more new champs come in to push them down the ladder

also.. whats your opinion on Vel'Koz... looks soo cool :P

He's alright. Very squishy, low mobility, zero defense, but he's quite strong with high ratios, especially with his range. His ult can dish out tons of damage in team fights too... Personally I don't like him because I favor mobility (Fizz, Kat, Talon) but a lot of people do like playing him. Maybe not totally viable for carrying your way through soloQ but everyone's different that way.

He's pretty good in this meta actually. Not really my kind of champion, but I hate playing against him; he gives a lot of people a hard time as he gets built up, though he is easy to bully before he gets his ult up.
