To get messages, make suggestions, reply to its replies and bump and reply to all discussions, introductions, suggestions, moderator applications and also make alot of reports
To get likes, congratulate members on things (example: grats on 2 years and 2 months on forums) wish happy birthday to everyone whose birthday is today and compliment members (example: nice pfp :p)

Congratulate and compliment only members that has more likes given than received though, so you'll be more certain that this member will give a like
Also make friendly tbhs to get likes or friendly ratings
Replying to threads in the help section will give you messages and likes if your replies were helpful
