People have argued with me and my opinions in the past, irl or over the internet. Some resulting in harassment, grudges, etc.
I now know the difference between a debate and an argument, so whenever I am involved in either two of them, I know if the other side started it because of hate, or just as a sensible and constructive debate over a topic.

yeah, it may have seemed I was taking the debate personally, but I wasn't. I guess it's just the way I talk, or debate, and people take it the wrong way xP

well that's what debates are all about ;p

It's just a constructive argument on 2 sides of a topic, each side giving their own opinion whether the other side agrees or not.
