i think I lurk around people's profiles too much, which explains my ratings to messages ratio, so it's definitely my fault

I never really understood the appeal to having a high message count just for the sake of having one

Mine is just high because there were no support ratings a couple months ago,and that I go in discussions alot.

well yeah, you have messages that are actual messages, instead of being some kid that says "hi" on every forum page just so they can have a higher message count
