ikr!! It was so bad! They knocked me over sideways, so all my weight fell on it, and I landed on my hip, which landed on my iPod...this was not long after I got it to replace my other cracked one ;-;

in my case, i often have earbuds for at least a year before they have problems. i also still have an ipad from about 4 years ago

headphones with disconnectable (and replaceable) cords are good for people who break their headphones often
