I didn't see it as rate abuse XD no one pointed it out, so I didn't see a problem tbh

3 positives is abuse. 4+ is rate farm. Since you're one of the best mod applicants and Experienced Member I would expect you to know about Rate abuse. However, it is quite complicated so I'll let you off. ;p

There's no specific amount of rates that qualifies for rate abuse or rate farming. All it is is abusing the rating system (at least I think that's the case :p )
