If you dont want to lose your plot, you can dispose it, and then reclaim after the name change

it would take to long, some noob will /plotme auto it.. Thats what happend when I was trying to give my plot to a friend.

It takes a few seconds to restart mc, but quite a few minutes waiting for your new name to kick in. last time I changed my username, had to wait about 3 minutes to join the server :P

You can always have a friend claim it while you restart
