After the latest reset of factions there have been a few changes, and most of them I agree with but! One thing I think needs to be brought back is faction chat. At the moment there is a lot of spam in chat, and having a quite 'talkative' faction, we contribute to the problem, it can get irritating when there is always tons of chat appearing on screen. Also, it makes it hard to plan anything, for example, when making a base we had to decide on how many/which walls we were going to have, but it was broadcast to around fifty people, and if I wasn't in the faction, I would have got a bit annoyed considering it has nothing to do with me. It's also hard to discern who is talking to who since there are various conversations going on at one time. As well as that, trying to manage faction matters is extremely difficult, when you want something to be kept private you have to /msg, but when you're trying to talk to ten people at once, it makes this painfully slow. Another point is raiding, I often raid with my faction and it's hard to discuss plans if the people you are raiding are online; giving away your entire situation and possibly ruining the raid. Before the reset I often enjoyed talking to my allies/truces but now it is no longer possible, which removes the very much enjoyable conversations we used to have. One other point is that the people in my faction are (mostly xD) my friends, and if I wanted to have a conversation with them about a personal matter I would only be able to talk to one with /msg, rather than the other people I would want to talk to as well. To put it shortly, my main points to bring it back are: - It will reduce spam - It will allow factions/allies/truces to communicate with ease - It will help leaders/officers manage their factions - It will make talking with particular people much easier Side note: If there is a way to enable faction chat and I am just being a noob please let me know :p
Full support as a co-leader of Eternity, the faction daesang's in! Please listen to her. We need this back in! So much spam and confusion and frustration could be avoided by returning a simple command!
