Alright hey guys, most of you guys might not know me but I'm Exeos. I've been playing OP PvP since I joined the server, and a few months ago there were way more players than there are now. Everyone has been quitting because it has been boring. Now I have an idea but I don't know if this is even possible, but I am pretty sure everyone will love to have this on OP PvP. It will bring many people closer and a chance to bond with their teams. So this idea might sound weird and confusing, sorry if you don't get it. It most likely will get confusing. So I had this idea in my head for a while and I thought that we should have this sort of day where we have teams for everyone. Everyone gets to choose who gets to be in their team out of 3-5 people. I think there is a plugin that allows you to do this, but it might lag the server. So I thought that we should just have the purge days at least 2-3 times per month or something, then delete the plugin or disable it until the days come again. I know that OP PvP has been lagging a lot lately but if the server gets a new host like everyone wish you the server did, this would work really well. So back to the idea, we get many teams from the entire server and we start going around and literally start purging. This is a good way to actually start pvping people because 80% of the donators are most likely teamed. So barely anyone pvp others anymore. Unless they find some default rank under spawn and start pvping them. This is also a good way for non donators to get their friends on the server and to join them on their team, getting more people on, and if they like it they most likely will stay on the server and rank up. This is a good way for players to interact with others, not just the donators fighting each other but also the defaults. A shorter version for those who don't understand, So what will happen is that people will be in teams with 3-5 players on each team. Players will then go around and kill other teams but may not team with any other people or they will get a penalty like sit out for 30 mins or something. This is sort of like another gamemode inside OP PvP, a free for all of some sort. This will most likely be held in a certain part of the map, or another map if needed. Sound REALLY REALLY fun But U know what would be better? That a gamemode All you spawn with is a diamond sword and no amour and everyone man for themselves!
I wasn't there with what they did but I'm pretty sure it was a bloodbath with what they did. I'm sure the people that participated didn't know who was on their team and most likely attacked each other on accident.
Support but wouldnt it be a hassle for the mods to delete and replace the plugins that would be a nightmare
@Silent_By_Night I think there's a way to disable plugins without them being used, just like when Pv's were disabled cause of the glitch, but I am not sure
