I just had that same problem a few minutes ago :/ I was able to connect to other websites and Minecraft though, so it was probably a problem with Mineverse.com .
(Also, the error is shown to be the host a.k.a mineveverse.com)

 

Well you can join the forums now, so why is it necessary to make a thread on this?

Yes,it happens sometimes.I get the error 500 message too.

 

If this happens to multiple people continually, then it may be something worth informing the server staff about. Rather than claiming this is an "attention-seeking" thread, you could have simply stated whether this has happened to you before... no need to be rude

Note: This happened to me again today... to top it off, I'm on a different computer this time.
