So I've heard that Kit PvP was having a reset soon due to the events that happened with the player resets and what not. OP PvP had the same problems, but I haven't heard of that server getting a reset. I think if Kit PvP is getting a reset then OP PvP should get one too. Why a reset is needed: - Not everyone got cleared when people got reset - Some people are so rich that it isn't even fun - Sharp 30's are way too common than they should be - We been playing the same map for years Things that need to be added: Better anti-cheat: Hackers are constantly roaming OP PvP, and they are very annoying because some of them can be near impossible to kill. I have been harsh to the staff about being more active and focusing on the hackers, but it would make their job easier if hackers had a hard time hacking in the first place, this can also be applied to all of Mineverse's game modes. A New Map: As said before, we have been playing this GTA map for years, we need a new map, and this would be the perfect time to introduce one. The current map is getting torn apart, and everyone knows all the secrets of it. The spawn can also be made better because with the shop in there, it's just crammed inside the spawn building, and it doesn't look that good. A Commander Rank: I like the commander rank in Kit PvP, it gives defaults something to work towards, and lets defaults compete with the donors more. They get /kit commander and /kit armor. It doesn't have to be called "Commander". Scheduled Restarts: The server lags quite a bit, I think restarting the server a couple times a day would help with this. Commands that need to be added: - /Kit Enderpearl Gives people a stack (16) of enderpearls with a cool down of 5 minutes - /Kit Armor Gives donors /kit op (Prot 5 Unb 3) armor with a cool down of 10 minutes - /Kit Commander Gives commanders a sharp 10 sword and knockback 15 stick - /Near (Supreme +) If a new map is added, it is probably going to be as big as the current one and it's sometimes hard to find people on the map, especially if you're away from spawn. Things that need to be removed: /Kit Tank/Paladin/Knight/Iron/Archer: These kits are pointless, they only give people a ton of enderpearls, adding /kit enderpearl would make these kits completely useless Remove armor out of donor kits: In a lot fights, donors have to do their kit in the middle of battle. If you're a titan, you drop a sharp 30 every time you do that. With /kit armor for the donors, armor in donor kits are not needed. Remove potions from shop: Healing and jump boost are completely useless for OP PvP, as it is a gapple PvP gamemode. As for speed, it is honestly annoying, and I just see not having speed more fun and make's Mineverse more unique in that regard. Remove the option to add knockback to swords: This one is self-explanatory, it is annoying to fight someone with a knockback sword, they just knock you back you back with every hit. These are all the things I could think of that should happen if an OP PvP reset would to happen, if you have any other great ideas I didn't think of, feel free to comment and I will consider putting it in this post! ~ JazzMagic
I don't think it should be reset. It's called OPPvP for a reason. Just fix the hacker problem, that's all that needs to be changed.
Lol I support we have had this map since I think 2013 if not earlier, And yes sharp 30s should be more rare. I also agree with taking gear away from ranks because the ranks can just use there kit once there first set is broken and basically the ranked players never run out of sets like me xD
Yes, it is called "OP" PvP, but all it is really is gapple kit PvP. And after awhile, people can get too OP. OP just means more powerful gear. Well, it's time to convince him (hopefully).
I'm well aware it's called "OP" PvP, I've been playing it for about 2 years, but you guys are taking the definition of "OP" to seriously, there is something called 'balance'. It is not fair that I got reset, and got completely screwed over, and I'm fighting people who didn't get reset or they are higher ranks or friends with higher ranked people. If I kill them, it's not a big deal, but if I die, I only got like 2 sharp 30's to chose from. It's not fair that 75% of the active players got reset and got screwed over by the other 25%. A reset would fix all of these problems, make everyone equal again, because some people are so OP that dying does nothing to them. There is something called being "too-OP" even on "OP" PvP.
Support, Op PvP has been the exact same for too long, and is extremely over-powered.. Even before vaults were added. Even after the dupes started to occur, not everyone was reset and there are people roaming with loads of strength pots and thorn swords.. It's so ridiculous at the moment and the map has been the same for years, it gets boring for us loyal players to do the same exact thing in the exact same place, over and over again. Spawn also needs to be changed, it's WAY too small. Hackers are also a serious problem on Op PvP, too many people hack everyday and get away with it, a better anti-cheat needs to be added asap. As for items disappearing magically from the invisible theifs, clear lag needs to give us a visible warning so we can be prepared, especially if something is being traded or loot is around. Donors are also WAY too op, especially Titans. It's called 'Op PvP', not 'Super Duper Who Cares If You Die Op PvP'. Balance needs to be added, a reset will benefit the server, and players. Please reset op Cyp ;'(
I support if there were to be an anti-cheat added, however for all the other suggestions no support, as I believe that it's not necessary.
