Life isn't fair but it would help the server if we comply with the eula because they wouldn't take any amount of money away :X

No offence but this suggestion shows that you want to get an advantage on forums. I don't mind in game, but adding 'ranks' on forums is just not fair.

 

Because it would be a nice aspect and look good im sorry that you may not have enough money to afford some of these things but their is a big majority of people that are fine with buying ranks like this and it gives them nice options and gives a whole different aspect on the Website.

i have no idea how you think it is not fair. it literally a nice prefix and some bonus permissions (that woulden't be op) with a Donater area.

He litteraly made this because he obviously has money to spend on mv's forums to get an advantage. If not, this makes no sense.

 

Don't assume anything i actually don't have the money right now i want to add this because i think it would look nice and it would be a nice aspect to the server but if you think donating to the server and getting a nice tag is unfair just remember its just a tag.

Because its another way to donate to the server and you do get some cool things but its not really that op.

 

I know I supported a suggestion like this on another thread last year, but I have changed my mind.

I believe forums should be a place of rank equality. We all earn our titles, trophies, followers, likes, etc fairly and over time (minus rate abuse cases). I know this may seem relevant but it is. Having VIP ranks and special privileges on the forums gives people reasons to brag and ridicule others for not having the same rank or not being able to afford it.
I've seen a lot of cases of people in-game who have donor ranks who think they are above everyone else just because they can afford a rank, and I honestly don't want the same to happen on the forums.

 

Sorry, no support. There is no need for this! Besides, people buy ranks daily, the server's already making good money, plus lots of people would brag and overall it's just not fair. People are already angry that rank in-game get so many perks. No need to add a donor rank here.

 

I support although it should be $5 for a year, not monthly.

If this receives a fair amount of supports we could possibly add this but I still don't know..

This was suggested a long time ago and I thought I'd work on the VIP group to see what it would look like and this was the outcome;

As for the perks that comes with the group I haven't thought about that yet.

I've been reading few comments on this thread and people saying "I have no money to purchase it" what if we gave you the option to choose between an upgrade or VIP status on the forums if you're one of the people in the top 5 voters?

 

thanks for the comment i think it would be a good idea to have the option between an upgrade or to get VIP ;) do you want me to make a little list of Supports at the bottom of the post?

 

IMO it should be a color which stands out more.

One of the permissions could be a private shoutbox, like the one they have on Minecraft Market and only VIPs can access it, something like that.

Yeah, I know. I'm just saying it'd be much more worth it if it was $5 yearly.

 

I don't think it would be worth investing tho for Cyp probally minimum 30$ a year i would say
