After seeing that @kinsey_kid's account had been hacked and damage done, I decided it would probably be a good idea to post this thread.
There is a site called LeakedSource that is becoming popular with users within hacking communities such as Hack Forums and more. But it's not only those communities that take advantage of it. Many others do such as well.
It's owner collects leaked databases and combines them into their own to essentially create a search engine of databases.
The site allows you to search by IP address, username, email, first & last name and phone number. Once you fill in the search box and hit the button, it'll search it's database for results that include what you've searched for. If you've signed up for a site that's been breached, chances are: you and your password, as well as other details, might be up there.
Sites that a lot of you may have signed up for are Xsplit, MPGH, and and another that I cannot mention due to it being the name of a Minecraft server are listed.

I recommend that you visit the LeakedSource website and search yourself up real quick. If at the bottom of the page you see that they have results on you and know that you've signed up for those sites, I'd recommend you change your password immediately on any site you suspect you may have used it on.
Now, you won't be able to see any details. They charge a subscription fee in order for you to view the actual details. You can also pay to remove any listings of yourself as well. I've paid to remove listings on myself in the past.
They no longer charge a fee for information removal! If the result that comes up includes an email address, you can request to have it removed with their automated removal tool for free.
You do not have to have a subscription to remove results. Just go to their FAQ and scroll to the bottom to find the removal link. If you search your email address on their site and results appear, I recommend you take the time to remove it.

After doing a quick search on Kinsey, I found that he has some results on a few sites.

This very well could be the way he was hacked, but we don't know that for sure. It's better to be safe than sorry.

To protect yourself even more, you could enable 2FA (Two-Factor Authentication). It would prevent users from gaining access to your account without having the device you get your codes from. A guide to do this can be found here: http://www.mineverse.com/threads/two-factor-authentication-extra-account-security.64622.

Hopefully this thread will prove itself helpful for you. It may possibly be confusing, as I'm not the best writer but you should be able to get the idea.

EDIT: A lot more databases have been breached and have been added to their site since the last time this thread was at the top. If you are a previous MySpace or Xat member, your password is probably up there! If not, you should check yourself regardless!

Always change your passwords. Makes it harder. Also never keep multiple things with the same password.

I searched up both "RebornWolf" and "Reborn". I guess those 2 are common names because I think a dating website showed up on the search results..

Yeah, the leaked databases of dating sites (I think there are like three?) seem to have every existing username in their database.
