IP Block

I dont know the actual name for this plug-in but ill try and describe it as best as possible. So on (NOT MEANT TO ADVERTISE) Kohi and some KCF servers they have a plugin that if your an account connected to your IP is banned and you try to log on to the server from another account it doesnt allow it since it thinks you are ban evading. I think MV should add this since a lot of people are banned but just by-pass the ban with another account but they are still on the same IP.

Unless the player can provide valid proof of him having a relative / family member in his/her house they will still be blocked. They could file a ban appeal with proof of it being a family member / relative and they will be allowed to join.

Stupid Idea from you and there can be Family/Friends that use the ip.

Yeah, no support since friends/siblings may be using the same IP.

That is one thing I have not yet thought of, if anybody here plays a server where this plugin is added and can tell me more about it that would be highly appreciated

 

Still a retarded thing to do. IP Ban is so stupid in my opinion since you are giving a suggestion.

 

Realized this is the same thing as an IP ban and mods would never get that.

 

I'm just gonna list some hurdles with the system,maybe it could help with finding a way to remove the problems.

• A friend could possibly pose as a sibling and hand the account over to the banned person.
• A sibling could hand their account over,too.
• A person could possibly create aliases to make fake family accounts incase they get banned.
