      Hey it's Red :p

Idk if this'll help anyone, but it's worth a shot. There's going to be some pretty dangerous storms in the central U.S primarily starting tomorrow. If you live anywhere from Texas to Illinois you might want to check your forecast.

      The threat:
Large hail is expected, along with the possibility of strong (possibly ef2-5 range) long track (as in it moves along and hits more area) tornadoes. You might want to check your TOR:CON number here on Dr.Greg Forbes' facebook page.

The rest of this post is just safety information, i.e, what to do in case of a tornado and the difference between a warning and a watch.

If a tornado warning is issued for your area, this means a tornado has either been spotted on the ground, or indicated by radar. If you are in a tornado warning, take cover in an interior room (possibly a closet or a hallway) or a basement if you have one. Bring pillows and blankets to protect yourself from flying debris, mattresses are also good. Tornado warnings are not to be confused with a tornado watch, which is issued when conditions for tornadoes are favorable, but a tornado is not imminent.

If a tornado watch is issued for your area, keep an eye out for possible funnel clouds (tornadoes that haven't touched down yet but are about to) and tornadoes. You will most likely experience other severe weather when this watch is issued. Move anything that might blow away indoors and park cars in garages if possible.

Watches and warnings- what's the difference?
Tornado or severe thunderstorm watches are mainly issued for hours at a time, and do not mean either is occurring. Just keep an eye out for
      dangerous weather.

Tornado or severe thunderstorm warnings mean that the storm is imminent and you need to take cover. i.e. why it's called warning.

      Stay safe this week guys.
