Official Hellblock Update

HellBlock is dead.. it is no use trying to update it. I think removing HellBlock and exchanging it for server everyone would want would be nice.

 

Remove hellblock aaaaaaaand invest more awesomeness into skyblock

Hellblock is fun fun fun.

 

I played Hellblock for a few weeks and like it, with its unique recipes it is an interesting twist on Skyblock. With challenges I got quite far, but I have reached a point where I see some necessary resources missing or probably not available due to the config.

1) Two challenges require milk which would be available from cows, but when trying to milk a cow there is an error message that the block cannot be spawned (in /warp animal).
2) Spawn eggs don't work. This would be an alternative to milking existing cows and would also provide access to required eggs. (Edit: They may work on the spawner for sale in the shop - I'll suck it up and grind the money - Edit2: Cow eggs *do* work, and after finding out about several warps I found an island which had chickens to grab eggs from)
3) Trying to place an obsidian block will give a puff of smoke response and the block is not placed. Even if a nether portal wouldn't work it would allow for completing the challenge.
4) Ender pearls are required for one challenge. Maybe add Endermen to /warp mob or add pearls to the shop? (Edit2: Found some in a chest shop. Still don't know where else to get them)
5) Mob arena doesn't work (mobs can't be hit).

(Edit2: So, for the moment, Hellblock provides an interesting challenge of acquiring resources. I was able to open all challenge levels. I'd definitely like to see a way to get obsidian beyond the 10 from the challenge, since it would make a nice addition to the limited selection of building blocks available, and for crafting 3 items)

 

We need different coloured dyes in the shop or flowers to make said dyes as currently the wool collector challenge is impossible.

Also the Netherportal challenge is also impossible.

 

Wool collector is possible ;) Unfortunately the sheep egg you get as reward doesn't work on floor (tried on grass) and it changes a spawner to pig instead of sheep :ah

 

I hope people will actually play now.

 

How do you get all the dye's?

 

Something you have in Hell are bones - and you can get red and yellow dye from flowers you can grow. Mix all other colors and farm the sheep for the rest.

 

Don't you need some of the really rare dyes? Then ones that can only be got through swamp biomes

 

Swamp is for light blue dye, but you can mix that with lapiz and bone meal.

Baked Potato, Bread, Cake, Cooked Chicken, Cooked Fish, Cooked Porkchop, Cookie, Golden Apple, Golden Carrot, Mushroom Stew, Pumpkin Pie, Steak

 

I don't care what happens anymore as long as it's not deleted AND good stuff is added.

 

Allow more things mobs in spawners. Like zombie pigmen. Also please fix all the warps\ update them.
