I appealed. AthleticPsycho denied it. It's expiring in 10 days but I don't want to think of getting falsely perm banned.
Neutral. Some hackers really do need a perm ban, after they get unbanned they continue to hack, it's really annoying to have to report them every time. (I can list a lot...) But then some aren't worth that perm ban, they hack once and then stop because they learned their lesson.
This is not a good idea, What if you are false banned? Good bye mineverse. Being perm banned falsly is a waste of time.
Look, there are some people with UNDENIABLE hax that are repeat offenders. I'm not talking about potential lag, like my case was. I'm talking about the people who beat 5 armored people with just a sword while hitting people behind them, or the people who you plunge arrows into and they run smoothly without even getting knocked anywhere, or the people who fly and think it makes them cool. If they are repeat offenders they should get an "escalated-penalty" ban which will eventually evolve into a psuedo-perm-ban, but if it's just one offense that may or may not be lag nothing should happen.
As I said in the original post, we can have a system where if someone hacks they get banned once. If caught again they get a perm ban. If someone was falsely banned and got unbanned the chances of getting another false ban would be rare unless you're actually hacking.
"The chance" is just too disturbing for me, since now I know that false bans are actually possible. I do think that right now it's too lenient but false perm-bans are just sad.
Exactly. If an appeal is denied its most likely due to the fact that you were hacking not because of lag.
I believe "Fake Hacker" is a client that makes the selected player you type in have fake hacks, most servers have a anti-cheat system that blocks this, I don't know about this one.
No support. This is a smart idea. Though, people might get banned for lagging as it is also accused for hacking. Sorry.
