Mineverse on 1.9.2?!?!?

Will Mineverse go into 1.9.2 I've looked into the update and not much has been added so it might be better to stay 1.9

I think 1.9.2 is the same client as 1.9 therefore it will still be 1.9.2 as well as 1.9 and 1.8.

what do you mean by this mineverse is already 1.9 and 1.8 compatible? I don't think it will be fully updated to a proper 1.9 server as combat servers would be completely destroyed XD

 

I meant that I don't want to see mineverse 100% 1.9/1.9+

 

Okay I don't think this will ever happen due to the fact that 1.9 has that horrible combat update . This update would completely sabotage all the PVP gamemodes. Right now the server is using a protocol hack that allows both 1.9 and 1.8 clients to connect.

 

1.9 was very bad, why should be update to 1.9.2 than?

 

I'm 99% sure Mineverse use the Spigot protocol hack version for 1.8-1.9, so it should work for all 1.9 versions.

 

No 1.9.2 has added Elytra sound effects so BIG DEAL MV doesn't Have Elytras Anyway #DownWith1.9

 

I know, yet most protocol hacks stop those items from appearing. So there is no big deal...

I've been playing another server that hasa gamemode called Eggwars, which it basically the same as Bedwars but it's in 1.9. It's super fun in 1.9. It's a Pvp gamemode, most people just not to give it a try.

 

I don't really understand whats wrong with 1.9.. Yeah it has Elytra and shields, but whats the guess your gonna find an Elytra... Plus shields just make it more fun to Pvp I think.

 

I don't really see what is wrong with the 1.9 combat update. I have had fun PvPs with my friends and found it interesting that they brought in axe attacks too. I feel its not as bad as people think, they are just overreacting and have to get used to 1.9. Try going on a survival 1.9 and messing around. The new stuff makes it pretty fun.

 

Mineverse is doing what they have always done in the past: Update it to 1.9 so people can join, but not include much if any of the new content. if you don'd trust me, go onto creative and try to build anything out of end bricks or any new 1.9 blocks, or use your other Hand for a sword or shield. Don't get me wrong, 1.9 was a horrid update, but mineverse is updating so people can join if they don't know how to change the update there playing on.

 

1.9 Ruined the Server Votes are WAY down no one can even connect even more you guys have seen what it did to The Hive do you want that on MV?!?!?
