Hey there! I was thinking since @Jesse234106 put up a recipe of what he's cooked as a status and I am fairly good at cooking I was thinking that we should share recipes of delicious things they have made. I have some things I make I just throw stuff in until it looks or tastes right. This makes it hard to write a recipe for. Here is one I am really fond of. It's yellow curry.

      Ingredients:
2 TBS Curry Powder (not sauce!)
1 can of Coconut Milk (NOT LIGHT! Very important!)
2 cups veggies (broccoli, carrots, peas, whatever you want)
      1 Chopped Onion
      1 TBS Flour
2 TBS Olive Oil or Vegetable Oil
      1 Tsp Garlic Salt
      1 Tsp Garlic Powder
      1 Tps Onion Powder
1/2 Tsp Cayenne Pepper Powder (if you can tolerate heat)
1 Packet Gravy Mix (or 2 TBS corn starch to help thicken)
2 cups Chicken or Vegetable Broth
2 Cups Dry White or Brown Rice
Optional: Sweet Chili Sauce (Mildly Spicy)

      First get the rice cooking:
Put in a large pot 4 cups of water, throw in 2 cups of white rice (add half a cup for brown rice) and bring it to a boil. Once boiling, turn heat down to a simmer (generally LOW heat) and cover for 20 minutes. Do not stir or take off lid during cooking time.

For the curry. Saute one chopped onion in oil until it is almost see through or you can easily cut it with a fork. (Saute means stir it frequently on medium high- high heat) Add flour caking the onion and cook for one minute. Add the broth and bring to a boil. Add the coconut milk, seasonings and Gravy Mix. Whisk until all the powders have dissolved. Add the vegetables and place on low and cover. When the veggies are easily poked with a fork it is done.
Prepare hot over rice and I usually put a LOT of sweet chili sauce in mine. It is SOOO GOOOD and it makes enough for leftovers. The spices really mix in well when left (not mixed with rice) in the fridge overnight. Let me know if you've tried this and your take on the recipe! :D

Share what you like to cook!

I'm not a world-famous cook, huh. This is a recipe for a Noobcrew.
      INGREDIENTS:
      1. 3 slices of pepperoni pizza (STRAIGHT OUT OF FRIDGE!)
      2. Microwave
      3. Salt and pepper (goes good with everything)
      4. Plate (cover with napkin; read steps for info)
      Steps:
      • Put the pizza onto a large plate; cover plate with napkin (or paper towel)
      • Place plate with pizza into the microwave. Sprinkle on salt & pepper.
      • Set for 10 hours.
      • Come back and open it up. There should be a flying sheep inside.
Congratulations! If you took these steps and it didn't work, please call 1-800-HELP and we'll assist you right away! Enjoy your noob crew!
