Will mineverse update to 1.9?

I just wanted to know if Mineverse will update to the latest version.

 

It will.
They say tanner said:"it will"
But it might take sometime for the plugins to update.

 

Have to wait for the plugins to update. I'm pretty sure it will.

Of course, we eventually will have to.
If you want a 'more cool' feature in 1.10.
For the time being, there are no plans to update immediately.
Though, Hypixel is 1.9, if you care.

And btw, I heard from somebody that noobcrew will try to disable the new pvp mechanic. Not sure if that is true.

Yeah i heard that he said "i don't like the new special attacks from Axe and Sword" and tried to Disable them

Anyway, Mineverse will eventually have to update to 1.9 so it can keep up with other popular servers, but all of the plugins have to be updated to 1.9 first.

 

Realistically, unlike the 1.7 -> 1.8 update where we had to switch from player names to UUID's, no real server-affecting changes came in 1.9. We're trying to update as soon as possible and don't expect there to be anything reset.

Mineverse won't be upgrading to the 1.9 update immediately, as the plugins haven't been optimized yet.

 

The 1.9 api's have been out for a long time, any plugins that needed to be updated have, though the majority still work fine from 1.8. That's not quite the reason it won't be updated right away.
