I feel like stating my opinion on the whole argument/debate at topic here.

I've been in the situation, where I was moderating and someone says "kys" then posted a sarcastic reply after to try and defend them. It doesn't work. It won't ever work. It's more popularly known and recognised as "Kill Yourself", for whatever reason. This furthermore makes it an inappropriate comment to say at any time at all. I'm also fairly certain that you yourself have in-fact reported someone for saying "kys". So, ironic? I think so. I guess Janice went lightly on you, to make sure you never done it again, she had the right to do so.

If you get promoted, that means you cannot contradict yourself if you see someone saying this. As a mod, you'd be fully aware that it was against the rules. So, would you let it slide? That's the question at hand here. If you noticed someone saying that to someone else. Would you report them? Yes, or no?

My stance on the "kys" thing.
Saying "kys" is against the rules, so is avoiding the punishment using any other acronym for it. "Kiss your sister" is counted as "kys" and thus "kill yourself" making it punishable as that.

 

In the picture I told FrxitLoops to kys and that is my alt if you didn't know.

 

I view you as a friend rodeen, and you're always kind to me whenever I see you, but as @GizzBots said, you can't please everyone. I have to be neutral, there are a lot of people upset with your actions Rodeen, and I don't know if everything that comes out of everyone's mouth is always nothing but the truth, I'm not trying to make a side here, just that the stuff that's been stated by people like @elephznt and others makes me not able to support.
