Creative water and lava

IF YOU CANNOT BUILD WITH THE THINGS YOU WANT TO then go to Single Player. If you want to build with your friends and place water and lava, then cry me a river because you can't. Simple thing, you can't and won't due to numerous people abuse it.

 

I'm not saying this for just myself so do not act AS IF I AM SIR. If you will not be nice to me on my post please leave it

 

You asked for his opinion, he gave his opinion. He is not being rude or bash about it, he is stating what he thinks.

 

That was rude. This post isn't just about me it's for all the people that play on creative.

They should kit

 

100% Support. You cant just revoke an essential building item because it apparently causes "Server Lag". That's an issue that the devs have to address themselves. And its not like lava will completely cripple Creative, large scaled buildings are laggy too so what are you going to do? Prevent people from building large scaled projects?

 

No support, creative is laggy as it is, and water and lava would make it worse, let alone the entities. You can easily create the effect of water and lava in more detail using blocks, wool, glass ( my favourite ) and make the illusion even better than the real thing, if you visit /p h:1 32rhys32 youll see the water looks just as fine as the real thing.

 

That's why she's made this thread in the hope that one of our two admins may see and acknowledge it.

 

I've seen your plot it doesn't look the same. Plus when your workin with a mountain you don't know where the water will flow so you don't know how you should place the glass

 

My builds look ugly without them :(

 

it comes with experience, play around on singleplayer

 

So what about the water on in your plot? Thats not glass and it doesn't look nice because its all source blocks. I've built with glass before and I don't like it, yes you can create things you couldn't have with water but it would still be nice to have the option to use water instead of glass.

 

I think they should just allow it back on world edit imo

 

If water and lava would to be added back, ever, I think:

• It should only be accessible with world edit
• It should not flow (to cause less lag)

Yes it isn't as nice as real water, and im not an expert builder, if you want an example of a good water stream using blocks visit /p h:3 twin_nic or any other builder

 

Look Rhys. I already know how to do all that. I am a builder on many servers. It would just be nice to have the option to choose
