Shop Suggestions [Skygrid]

I have been playing Skygrid, when I noticed the lack of items in the server shop, I think that the shop could be improved and more items could be added, currently, we have the following items.
Iron Pickaxe: This one I don't understand, an iron pickaxe is in the /kit starter, so why is it also in the shop? It is sold for one emerald, who would waste their emerald on something received in the basic kit?
Diamond Pickaxe: This is for two emeralds, which I really don't understand because diamonds aren't very hard to come across.
Diamonds: You can purchase one diamond for one emerald, which isn't really good as emeralds are much more valuable than diamonds, and again, diamonds aren't that hard to come across.
Ender Chest: This is the only one (other than the next one) that is somewhat useful, but it isn't really worth the five emeralds, the Ender Chest is used as a cloud storage for your items which is useful, but is it really worth it?
Sponge: This is the only one that I think is completely good on the /shop, sponges are used to protect your land and because of this I believe the five emerald price is fair.

My idea is to possible add more items to the shop, some items I have in mind are down below.
Sand: Sand is very hard to collect on Skygrid, so it would be convenient to be able to buy it in the shop.
Water Temple items: There is no possible way to get the Water Temple items and blocks, these blocks are very nice and would be great for building so why not add them to the shop?
Quartz: Quartz is hard to get in the nether because some nether areas don't have it, so it would be nice to be able to buy this in the shop.
Obsidian: Obsidian would be nice to get because it would protect from griefing and makes your base immune to most types of destruction.
Name Tags: There is only one other way to obtain this, fishing, and they would be nice to get easier.
Gold: Along with sand and glass, this is possible to get but very time consuming, it is an item for so many crafting recipes, it is possible to get but it should be able to be obtained to craft these useful items.
Also, it would be nice if blocks were sold in large quantities, (Nether brick, cobble, wood, smooth stone, glowstone, grass, etc.) as well as food (bread, carrots, potatoes, steak, chicken, etc.)

I would like to say I am not trying to make Skygrid overly easy, I am just trying to improve Skygrid by adding things that can't be gotten, or, in some cases saving things that are very time consuming and boring to obtain.
