Hello, I have been putting off making this as I have been enjoying being unbanned from Skygrid, but I would like to address something that is so widespread I did not know it was punishable when I was banned for it. What I'm talking about is player killing, (the method of getting a lava bucket and placing it where someone is standing) anyone here who has played Skygrid knows that player killing is extremely common and I believe that this could be avoided if it was stated more specifically in the rules. While making my appeal I was told that it fell under trolling, which I can see, but it is so commonly used on Skygrid that I believe it should be explicitly stated in the rules as punishable. I believe this would improve the server for all players as there would be less raiding. Which brings me to one problem this would cause. One thing I was thinking of is the inability to defend your base if it is being griefed, griefing is accepted as not bannable as long as said land is not protected by a sponge. This would mean players could not defend their base if it was being griefed. For this, I have two ideas, change it so this would be legal if at someone's own base, which would sort of break the rule. I do not have a real solution to this problem (comment ideas? ) As far as I am aware, I was the only person (other than someone I reported after I was unbanned) to be punished for player killing, I think it would be good to either make it known that this is a punishable offense or edit the rules to state this clearly as breaking the rules. Support. Edit: I think it would be fine if a player can kill someone who is grieving their base but in any other situations no killing. Additional edit: this could work like the make my day law. You can't go around shooting people but if someone is attacking you in your home. You can defend yourself. So it could work like this law. Signed, SnakeVenomPvP
Death trapping falls into the player killing category. I don't know about the defending part, I will bring it up with Cyp.
