I think donors should get perks that DO NOT affect PvP nor give them advantages over other players.

Support sounds good. One thing - won't it create more unwanted lag for the server as many people are already complaining about the lag.

That is a good point, that unfortunately only Cyp/Crew could answer. Added the feedback to the original post.

The rules to hardcore factions are:
You get a deathban (3 hours)
No creeper eggs or tnt cannons
    no /spawn or /tpa only /f home
you go raidable if you die enough times in a certain period

It would be awesome to play Hardcore Factions on mineverse, however, donors get minor perks:
Upon death, you are banned from joining hardcore factions for about 12 hours.. but depending on your donor rank you can get a smaller death ban. This would be the ONLY donor perk.
    DB=Death Ban
Premium DB: 11 hours 30 mins
    Sponsor DB: 11 hours
VIP DB: 10 hours 30 mins
    MVP DB: 10 hours
Elite DB: 9 hours 30 mins
    Supreme DB: 9 hours
God DB: 8 hours 30 mins
    Titan DB: 8 hours

Sorry if I missed the clarification of this but if this were to become a thing, (in Survival), would there still be the ability to claim?

For most gamemodes, there would be little if any major shifts. The factions mode would be the only one with larger changes to my knowledge, but I would have to defer to the players in the thread that seem to know about it. The other ones would be more targeted around just making things tougher overall with the subtraction of key things like large kits or specific commands. So specifically for survival, I would see claims still being a thing.

Trying to take a meaningful stab at some differences, but by no means a final list. I'm also trying to not include items like "unable to play for X period of time" on death as I feel that may be a bit harsh in some of these modes, but it appears that may be the way the hardcore factions bit is.

    Survival:
    • No /heal
    • No /feed
    • No /repair
    • No /enchant
    • No kits
    • Monster difficulty turned up
    • No multiple warp/home setting
    Factions:
    • No /heal
    • No /feed
    • No /repair
    • No /enchant
    • No kits
    • Monster difficulty turned up
    • See responses from a few players in regards to how hardcore factions normally gets played. (didn't know it was a mode played elsewhere when post was made)
    Skyblock:
    • No /heal
    • No /feed
    • No /repair
    • No /enchant
    • No /fly
    • No /god
    • No kits
    • One warp
    • Monster difficulty turned up
    Prison:
    • No /heal
    • No /feed
    • No /repair
    • No /enchant
    • No kits
    • One warp
    • Monster difficulty turned up
I think the biggest proposition behind the gamemode, is to try to distill it down to what the gamemode is when no commands are given to players that impact the playing of the gamemode itself. Each of the commands given impacts the ease or difficulty of the mode, and possibly the economy of the mode.

For specific areas like factions, there seems to be a larger approach of "if you die, you can't get on for X period of time" but I am unsure if this would be a good fit across the board. I do kind of like it for survival and factions, but am less keen on Skyblock/Prison just due to differences in nature on the playing of those modes.

Obviously, as always, open to feedback on more specifics of what people are thinking, and this list changes. Just taking a first shot at specifics. (Also its late, so brain not fully functioning, may be missing something obvious)

    Cheers,
    Melgrath

No support, being a player myself who supports the resets of a lot of the servers, it's not about us wanting a NEW server with a new style of gameplay and new aspects of it, what we(or atleast in my perspective) want is to continue playing the servers that are already there, but not have it so abandoned that there isn't an update in 2-3 years. A simple reset of those servers, possibly every 6 or so months, would be just fine.
