I'm sorry to say this. But kitpvp is totally [Edited] up. GET MODS.... 100 people is on basically everyday, and the crew thinks it is enough for 2-3 mods logging in everyday just to reset their ontime? That is so dumb, mods be more active or get more. I'm not promoting myself as a mod in any kind here, I just want a fun time playing without meeting a guy with no kb 70% of the time.
Man, I love getting these comments about what we don't do! Look in the reports and reports: banned archive. Us, the mods, can't do everything for you. You have to record things for us. We are not robots, we are humans. We do more than enough for you. We take our own time to moderate this server. Feel we're terrible? Feel free to make a report on us or apply yourself if you're that much better.
While I agree with you that we need more staff in game, it's roughly 12:00pm Pacific time. Most the staff are still in school or on the bus home. I know I am just clocked out for lunch break from work. We need more EU staff. Feel free to apply. I am loving the outfit and enthusiasm.
Like tads said, please check out the reports section on banned players and see just how many kitpvp players we ban per day. If you don't like the hackers, use a recording program and report them. We cannot be in every game mode every second. It's just not possible. Even if we had 50 staff (which is a way overkill, but just an example) you still wouldn't have someone at your every battle, which is why reports are so important.
See thats why the 2 gamemode moderators were good... now everyone is global and its hard to moderate. Just like tads said, moderators are not robots, they are humans. And every single one has theyr own life to live. I agree that we need more mods, or bring back the 2gamemode moderators... or even both. But at the same time I think that they are doing a great job, its just that people don't notice them...
How does that hinder the ability to moderate? Global allows mods to be able to assist players in any server when they need the help. When I was a 4 server mod, I could never help those who needed help on other servers, like with advertisers or hackers. I really don't understand what your argument even is.
KitPvP does have a big hacking problem, but that doesn't mean you should diss/blame our mods for it. There's many other gamemodes needed to be handled, too. Players are constantly making reports, therefor the mods are constantly banning the hackers. I don't know what more you expect. Although more mods would be nice, you didn't have to disrespect the current ones who spend so much time helping our server.
I agree, kitpvp has an outrageous amount of hackers. There's been times where I was recording hackers faster than I could upload the videos. Feel free to think what you want, but what you don't realise is that we do our job, and in my opinion we do it really well. I saw 4 mods constantly getting on kitpvp to do their job (including myself) but when you joined, most of us had gone to live our lives. I was the only one on. The problem isn't us, it's the timezones. You had no clue how many people we banned that day. Please understand, as @TADS4 said, we are only human. You can't expect us to be on kitpvp 24/7. We have lives that we need to enjoy. We do our best.
I never said the Mods didn't do their job, but we need more EU mods so we atleast have 1 staff member on constant. Iv'e experienced the hacks is decreased while a mod is on. I could apply so we get an EU mod, but i mostly get irritated myself and bring the irritation in game, whenever i see a cheater, so I have no chances of becoming it.
And yes. Whenever i see a mod online, he's probably on for a couple minutes, except Pulch. And yes. Recording, editing, upload file, then uploading to YouTube for every hacker i find takes too long time. I have a life too
