Enabling 1.7+ for Mineverse

One of the reasons why I'm not on Mineverse as often is because 1.7+ is not enabled. In order to enter the server you must be using 1.8. In my opinion 1.8 is terrible. The texture glitches and lag are 2 reasons why I don't use it in pvp. If 1.7 was re implemented on Mineverse many new tricks could be used in pvp such as blockhitting and improved hit registration. If 1.7 was added, PVP would be a lot smoother

 

Try using Optifine, it will improve your fps and it's easy to download.

Making the server be 1.7.x wont be ever possible, all the network is based on the 1.8.x versions and cannot just change itself back to 1.7, it will demage all the plugins and the builds of everything. Wont ever happen.

No Support, We had a mega update uploading all the plugins to 1.8 and a lot of our current plugins can't go back to 1.7.

I'm trying to suggest that MV allows its players to use both launchers 1.7 and 1.8. And ofc I hope we never switch to 1.9 for gods sake that garbage is terrible

 

I don't even know why they moved to 1.8, it was better if it was a 1.7.10 server allowing 1.8 clients like January. It was way better

 

I know right, and fps and pvp was A LOT smoother

 

i don't have any problems with fps, but pvp was better. There's still that annoying hit lag

I wish 1.7 would be compatible with current plugins. Support, but it's not gonna happen.

 

That can't happen because 1.8 has blocks and mobs that 1.7 doesn't which means you wouldn't be able to play on servers that have those stuff.
