I agree some are unread, maybe appoint one person to look through all the suggestion forum threads, this may help sort out which need to be added, but the staff still work hard to get through what they can

The problem really isn't that the owners and the staff aren't working hard enough, they are.
It's the fact that there's VERY limited interaction between the owners and the community in regards to suggestions.

I do agree, they are very busy and work hard as I said, most of the time when noobcrew is on he does look at suggestions but I do not see many commented on. There does need to be more activity on suggestions, and one person dedicated to moderating that section will be useful

Cyp and Noob are adding some of our suggestions and now they are getting a bit more active on the forums!
    They are busy.

So does the developer @TannerLittle, unless I've lived under a rock. Not sure if he still is the dev but he was when I followed MV forums.

Mineverse doesn't take the community's choice, more like their own choice.

There are so many good skyblock ideas in the suggestion forum. It would be nice to get some updates for skyblock that didn't make things worse. After the new warp plugin was installed no one can delete/move their warps. And now we can mine spawners with a silk pick, but can't change spawners. Derp!

Most suggestions are illogical, impossible, far fetched, plain horrible and repeats of other suggestions made by someone else.
Merks aint gonna spend time sifting through dozens of threads. He will pick out suggestions he likes, when he has the time to think about server improvements. I think there are more bug fixes and serious issues to take care of first.
Its not a matter of not caring etc but sometimes when two people run many servers and said people have lives and want to do other things in their free time too... well who are we to complain. Just make do with what is given and if you are not happy, find another server.

I think there may be some valid concerns around the visibility that various suggestions receive. I think one of the easiest ways to tackle the perceived lack of action, would be a "Developer Backlog"

A simple post that highlights some of the current top suggestions for each gamemode based off of ideas submitted by players, or the direction that Cyp/Crew want to move the server. This would give an easy "close" to the suggestions topics in the forums, as Cyp/Crew could simply say "Added to backlog" and archive the thread out.

The added benefit to adding features to a public backlog, is that if a suggestion is already on the backlog, no need for duplicate posts on the same idea. This would also be a way for players to see how long the backlog really gets as I am sure it is huge.

Cyp/Crew could even keep certain objects a "surprise" by putting something on the backlog like ?????? so players would know something fun is coming without Cyp/Crew having to spoil the surprise.

Working at a software company, I understand that customers just like to know when ideas are acknowledged as good, or acknowledged as being something the company wishes to implement as time allows. Very similar here, I think the player base would appreciate knowing what is being worked on or top priority for the MV Admin/Dev teams even if the post is only updated weekly for example.

Perhaps additionally, it would offer a good "Change log" for when bugs are fixed or things are patched/added so that players can see how much really goes into many of these things. I am sure Tanner can vouch for how many bugs or little features he has added to things like the /friends system that may go unnoticed by many people. By doing a change log, his efforts would be more visible to the community, letting them know that "Yes, things are being added/fixed"

    Just my 2 cents.

    Cheers,
    Melgrath

SAMPLE POST: (Perhaps for backlog items, link back to the original post suggesting it?)

    Skyblock:
    • Add server based shop for players to buy rare items
    • Add additional voter crates for rare/ultra-rare similar to prison
    • Fix Spawn Eggs - Targeted for January (Not really, but showing what an update may look like)
    Change Log:
    • Dec 23 - Fixed bug with repeatable challenges (Skyblock)
    • Dec 24 - Fixed bug with plots losing user permissions (Creative)

trust me, they are all looked at, but most don't meet the "mineverse standard"

Maybe for the change log it's like a pinned post on discussion and whenever tanner or cyp or noob fix something a mod or them can edit the post with like a date and what got changed?

I don't think the kitpvp map will be changed now that Cyp is making the trading rooms on it
