Am I the only one getting this message? "You do not have permission to change spawner with spawn eggs."

Nup, no one can as far as I know

 

I'm kindof glad it's disabled. Pig spawner + blaze egg = huge profit

 

There are ways to fix the permissions for them out there, but its been like this for over a month now.

 

Throughout the whole of MineCraft hoppers and spawn eggs are broken.

 

They are just disabled...

 

I reported the issue and got told that it needs to be a "suggestion". So now I need to make another thread in the graveyard they call the suggestion section.
I wish I had know I missed the boat on changing my spawner before I bought them from the MV shop.

Now I'm wondering why would anyone buy spawners from buycraft. Everyone has pig spawners and they are almost worthless on skyblock now.

 

Omg nothing is disabled or broken.

Due to the silkspawner plugin our ability to change spawners is gone. We have two options,

1) Be able to break and collect spawners but not be able to change them.

2) Change spawners but not be able to break and collect them.

There was a suggestion for the silk spawner plugin which got a lot of support so, unless there is a way around this @TannerLittle

 

I am familiar with the SilkSpawner's permissions and there is definitely one for changing spawners with monster eggs. It's as easy as changing False to True.
One of the owners/developers tried to change it but changed the wrong permission. There is also a permission to CREATE a spawner with a monster egg. This wreaked havoc on the server for a few hours. But when he changed that permission back to false the intended permission wasn't changed to true.

Well I got a witch spawner a sheep spawner a spider and ghast spawner 6 pig spawner and 3 cow spawner so I think I'm set with spawner. :P

 

That's good for you, but what about the new people who join everyday? Don't you want new members to enjoy skyblock and be able to use the spawners they purchase with real money? The more fun they have the more likely they are to buy and rank and become a permanent member.

 

That's true. But for now we will just have to wait for someone to do something about it.

Skyblock needs to be reset, that would solve everything
