/pet Human Concept

I've come seeking some answers and potential resolutions to problems we face on the server, mainly focusing on the Human pet for Titan ranked players. I myself am a fairly new Titan, I only got the rank on Tuesday and I was hoping to use the Human pet for once and found out that I couldn't. Now I wasn't completely shocked as I had heard from a few of my mates that it wasn't working, I got no explanation as to why it was 'disabled' and so I sought some answers.

The Human pet is probably one of the best pets if not the best pet out there because you literally get to have your own person to follow you around with the name/skin of another player. I've always wanted to use the pet because I always loved the idea of a pet person. I was told today by someone that the pet human was disabled not only due to incompatibility to 1.8 but also generic rule-breaking when using the pet. I was told that Titans were getting pets with certain player tags and then doing /v and afking the pet somewhere, then resulting in the real player getting banned from the server; so I have an idea.

I was thinking about something that would make the pet Human accessible and yet players can't get other players banned. I know the chances of this even being possible are minimal at best but I thought i'd just see what you guys think. I had a thought occur to me as I went through my pets that, if a player model (being the Human Pet, with accessible commands etc.) could be 'shrunk' down to the size of a Baby Villager. I know the idea itself is ludicrous but it's worth a shot, if it actually worked then the pet human will be allowed and there would be no results of players getting other players banned.

Yes, I know that majority of the reason for the Human pet being banned is the plugin but if the plugin was updated then maybe this could be considered.

This post is just a formality for when the server has to update. So please dont talk about the incompatibilities with 1.8

 

well /pet human can distract people in pvp.

 

It actually can help players or mods detect hackers.

/Pet human is like a player. When a hacker is chasing someone /pet human behind the player will show that if he has Kill-aura, and aimbot it will start hitting the pet human. Get it?

 

I wonder if there would be a way for the plugin to be modified to where you couldn't name the pet? It would just be there following you around. You could still customize it's skin, but wouldn't be able to get anyone falsely banned. It might be worth looking into making a suggestion for it.

Tanner has stated that this cannot be done in 1.8.

Not sure what "incompatible with 1.8" means to you, though I can help break it down. Human pets are incompatible with 1.8. Hope I helped.

Eh, I know it is impossible and but it was a formality for the time the server has to update, whether it be 1.9 or later. We can't stay on 1.8 forever.
