(SkyBlock) Flight glitch exploit

This post is regarding the flight glitch exploit on skyblock, from what i've heard; the exploit is no longer bannable. In my own personal opinion this seems rather inequitable, as the flight glitch (as the name suggests) gives any player access to flight. I know the glitch is not being spread much throughout the server anymore but the idea that players who use it shouldn't be banned is absurd to say the least, player's that defy donator terms and basic rules should be banned, no questions asked. But now the server is showing that they're being too easy towards the people that exploit glitches and use them throughout their daily life in skyblock.

Flight should only be for the specific rank of the donor that provides cost. Players that don't pay money toward the server to provide them with a rank that gives them access to flight should not still have flight privileges and yet there are non donators flying about every day on skyblock, which is ridiculous. Not only does this exploit need to be covered in some way to prevent players from accessing it but those that do use it should be punished. I've heard that banning had stopped lately because of the amount of players using the glitch. but even just a temp ban as a warning or an actual general warning could definitely decrease the number of players using the exploit. Please consider this thread, I wish that one day there won't actually be non-donors using the flight exploit. Thank you for your time

True, but have you really seen any of the server admins etc do that? No. Instead they imply that they'll just temporarily stop banning people. Not to get into technicalities but they're just letting people off the hook with the exploit

 

This is also an issue in survival

 

I'll message Tanner to decode warptastic and patch the glitch, seems like the author doesn't want to patch it or he's not aware of it.

We don't want the players to use exploits but i'm sure you will understand why I don't want to ban these players who is abusing the exploit is because we'll have too many banned users and we'll have hardly anyone playing Skyblock and we don't want that to happen.. it may seem stupid for not banning the players abusing the exploit but I hope you understand where I am coming from.

Once the glitch is patched none of those users will have /fly anymore.

 

All it really takes is to ban one or two people, after that I am sure most people will stop because they know it's serious. If you don't ban people then everyone will think it's okay to exploit glitches.

 

They won't stop. If no one is there to stop them, or even tp to them, what's stopping them?

The idea of banning everyone using the glitch is ridiculous (no players, no income), altough it is bannable if they abuse it like to troll, escape from a fight, etc. Just report and wait for a mod to resolve the issue.

 

I changed my opinion on this.....don't ban people for using it ;)

 

The only good thing is that deathwarps can be found risk free.

 

The fly glitch is becoming more common. I see people flying all the time and I know that it doesn't seem fair to some people who paid for this command, ( god and titans ) but we can't ban everyone! Too many players use it and we will loose many members by the ban. We all need to think this through. Do we want to loose people or have an unfair glitch around?

I love this glitch is survival you have so much mobility haha. it's easy to get up to my grinder and fix it when i have the glitch on.:OO:D:D

The glitch should be patch tonight if it all goes well, we're converting warptastic warps.db so it works with our new warp plugin.
