Chat Warnings? Dont Seem To Do Much?

On many servers on Mineverse you receive 'warnings' this could be from spamming, typing commands too fast or any other reason I haven't listed, on creative I receive them for typing commands too fast mainly /p h , or , /gm.. , or just world edit, but what I do not understand is what they do? I have 55 just from typing commands too fast, and yet all that happens is a spam kick from time to time if I use commands too fast, anyone tell me what is the purpose?

In conclusion I think it's infinite, however that picture in the post was just a photo edit I did with my 99 warnings

spam kicking is to stop spammers, all warnings do is accumulate with no consequence.

 

Maybe it's to scare people.

Keep going. Go as high as 200 if possible to test it out lol.

 

I think if they wanted to add an action it would be at less than 55 so I'm waiting for a mod or higher to elaborate the purpose, bit confusing

 

I remember when I was purposely spamming commands to see how high I could get it. I think I got around 60 before I gave up..

I got to about 354 warnings and then I gave up. All I was doing it executing commands.


Just remove the warnings on commands.

 

there's the fact of just removing them, but what we're trying to find out is what they do not a solution

 

They do nothing.
I spent a whole day doing it once and I got to 3421 before I gave up.
3422 could have been it tho.

 

That much? we know they do nothing for certain but the problem is they stop you from executing a command on the warning itself.

 

Lol so basically it's a hoax to make people be good. Not anymore anyways :P

 

Pretty sure this plugin is here as a scare tactic in some sense. As a newer player, I certainly was afraid that all of my 14 warnings would get me banned.

Another reason may be to stop spammers, chat exploiters, and other people. It doesn't take a clever person to get around this though. I think there should be a more productive plugin to fill its place. Make a suggestion thread.
