I havent read the comments but I read your post. When i was younger (Im 25 now) My family made a lot of fun of my love for gaming and called it a waste of time until I got older and decided to pursue a career in game art and design. Parents and family are always going to kind of look down on something they dont understand because it wasnt something prominent in their generation. My mom still doesnt get WHY i love video games but she likes to watch me play story heavy ones that she can follow sometimes. Just wait until you get to be an adult and they dont see it as such a weird thing with all the tech thats rising nowadays. It gets better. You wont always be judged I promise.
