    So I went to the Spigot Forums for help, and got nothing but stupid comments telling me things I already know, so I thought, there are some smart people on the Mineverse Forums, so why not go and ask for help there?

    I am looking for a actual server, like a machine I can have in my house and that will run a Bungee Network of around 10+ servers, with at minimum 15 players on per server.

    I understand the issues I may face, with the internet problems, yet I get 4+ Mbps on a good day, and I surely wont get too much lag from the internet to the Server.

    So, please can someone recommend a type of server (Blade, tower, rackmount etc) and what Specs it should have.
    If you are really wanting to be kind, please can you link me to a good server, I shop on "Ebay" most of the time, so if anyone knows of any good servers on there, please can you link it below.

    Thank You for your help, and reading.
    Have a nice day :).

    On ebay look up dell power edge 2950. It can run 6 virtual wimdows co!puters at pnce without breaking a sweat. Perfect for your bumgee network. Prices range by seller would link, but mobile is being unresponsive.

    Thank you man!
    Yet, I am just starting to know my way around servers... How do you mean "6 virtual windows computers" I'm sorry, but I'll probably ask a lot of questions, cause everyone has to learn somehow :p.
    Questions:
    How would I install an OS & what OS?
    I heard these things need loads and LOADS of power, and Internet connection???
    Is it possible to connect to the server via FTP, or like you said, does this "6 computer" thing have a different mean of connection.

    Thanks man, means a lot!

    Edit;
    Just checked eBay, they're selling a Server, the one you suggested, however they talk about caddies or something, and storage. I guess it has no storage, I would have to supply my own drives?
    So;
    What's a "caddie/y"
    What drives do I need?

    Os installation is muchlike doing it on a normal computer its not difficult and a siple yobe video will show you. I prefer linux as i dont have to pay for a licensing key. You can ftp into the server. Power consumption isnt horrendous. Internet is like a normal computer unless the minecraft servers are run ng then it will take a bit more. The virtual computers are computers you can create in the server using a mprogram called vmware. Essentially its having a fully fuctioning computer in a computer a blast to work with.

    Why not buy a server. They are like $2-$100.

    Cheaper over time to just own your own.

    Why am I not just buying a Server?

    I am currently making a Bungee Network, and I cannot be paying £25+/month for a VPS that will run it.

    Thanks.
    What would I search on Youtube? I have tried searching before, no luck.
    Also, how would I install the os, just to sum it up, is there a Disc Drive that I can boot off?

    Simple solution, buy yourself a VPS, its all setup for you, all you need to do is put the files together and put it into the vps

    Ugh,
    I do not / will not buy a VPS. The VPS that suits me best is too expensive, and anything lower would just cause problems.
    Thanks though.

    A physical server will not cost $10,000+ Unless your trying to buy the Nasa Supercomputer. :p.
    The server that jedijosiah recommend is only £120 on Ebay, and its a RackMount server with 16GB RAM.
    What costs 10,000?
