As the title says I am suggesting that it would be great to have an island reset confirmation command of some type. The confirmation could be as simple as doing the command a 2nd time or requiring you to stand still for 20 seconds similar to the TPA request on some servers. I'm suggesting this for skyblock to help players avoid accidentally losing their islands to a simple mistake or a malicious command book. This suggestion may be applicable for other servers too. Mostly I have seen this occur when people are trying to be helpful to the new players that are not familiar with the commands. A new player ask how to reset their island and the people trying to be helpful and provide an answer occasionally forget to type something before the /sb restart part. I lost my island once to a glitch and it sucked. I have empathy for all the people that I see accidentally reset their islands when they are trying to help noobs. I personally refuse to answer that question for people since I'm the type of person that might accidentally respond "/sb reset is how you restart your island." I have done that plenty of times trying to tell people a warp.
Support I had that happen to me on a server before I came to mineverse. Lets just say that it made me quit that server and come here...
100% Percent Report. I have been so close to accidentally restarting my island. And I mean really really close. For example I typed everything in and already had my finger on the the enter button.
This is exactly why it would be in the best interest of mineverse to implement a confirmation. It is a simple mistake that is easily made avoidable. Every day I see players begging for help, donations, or money because they accidentally reset their island. Losing new players or old players to this kind of tragic accident does translate into a loss of income to the server.
