Hellblock is one of mineverse's more recent servers compared to the other servers. When it join I was told it would have around 70 people or more. People use to come on all the time and play. But what about now? After over a year, its already down to seeing a max of 7 people a day. Most players join see the lack and the issues hellblock still has and then leave. My question for the community are: What if hellblock was potentially moved back to the skyblock servers? What would you guys think? Do you think it would benefit mineverse? Tell me what you think below! (I am currently tying to get the skyblock.org and .net opinion on it)
That's more money cyp and crew have to spend. Its cheaper on mineverse. The reason there is a mlow player as is that the plugin is outdated and obsolete. Cyp trys his best but that community isn't remorseful.
Hellblock.org is not related to skyblock servers at all. It's just a server a past member created with geekxboy
Yeah.. I go on hellblock and there is two players on. If it were back with the skyblock servers, people may like it and even play it more. It is more like the skyblock servers so I feel it'd do a lot better there.
Well I would imagine it would do better connected to the skyblocks rather than hellblock. At least hellblock, before it broke, had an admin of its own, dedicated staff, larger player base etc. Many of the people that used to play hellblock were skyblock members thus the move killed off that part of the community switching to a small group of mineverse players. Overall the concept of hellblock is a little dead. Most people's donations were already moved and i dont think hellblock could survive on its own like before.
I have thought about this and I do support the idea of it. Hellblock has now dropped 98% of the players and has basically turned into a ghost town. It does not need to move to the SB servers to have popularity though. MV is a big enough server where HB could gain more attention and have a good player base. I feel we need to bring this server back to life as a community. Competitions, new releases, ect. If we added new things, fixed bugs, and updated HB, I think it could come back to life. In doing so Cypriot/Crew would need to work on advertising this server in game stating what new features reside on the gamemode. Never been done but who says it can't be a first time thing? I still have hope for this server. @jedijosiah -- It would not cost "more money" with the player slots, HB here could take a couple hundred players if needed. If they were to switch, they could take the current hosting and simply bungee it with the SB servers. After, they would just need to advertise on the bulk server. Then boom, HB would have players.
It's on it's own server, if I'm right? So moving it to another server wouldn't change the cost so much? They have also recently moved Skyblock.net and Skyblock.org together which has greatly improved the player base of the smaller server, Skyblock.org. I think combining them would be great Support.
For the few people that said it wouldn't really change, again when I moderated hellblock it had a large amount of people cause of its connection. A main reason. Now no one likes it really is cause there are other games that get more attention on here. If it's out with the skyblock than it will get noticed more and have another jump start with people that prefer skyblock over other game modes. That was a large run on sentence.
I agree, hellblock should be moved to .net, just like how .org was moved. Support, if this is moved to suggestions
I also agree with this. Hellblock was a good server. But it's about time they get transferred to another website (.org). It's about time they change it to more people joining in than having just less people. More people/change will make a difference
