Pros and Cons of Mineverse

Hi and thank you for clicking on this thread.
As your current head moderator, I would like to be much more involved in the community and I know I am lacking this skill. So I decided to make this thread, we are all apart of the Mineverse community. So I want to hear what people love, like, dislike or hate about mineverse. This can include anything such as the staff, bugs, infection maps, you name it. I would love to hear all about you think of Mineverse as a whole.
If you wish to participate here is a recommended template you can use. You may list as many as you like and you can just discuss or make your own template but nothing off topic please.

Prison.

 

Pros

• As a whole, I personally think that Mineverse has an amazing community, although there are some people that are not so good.
• The amount of sub-servers that are within Mineverse.
• Connection.
  • Although it's a commonly a brought up topic, it's a US host for a reason. That reason is, that most of the traffic towards this server, is in fact, from the US.
• Most of the newly promoted mods are doing a rather good job.
• New choice for head-moderator, of course.

Cons

• Glitches that occur.
  • Duplication glitches within many of the servers, such as Survival and OPPrison
  • I've heard of glitches in Prison where you can grief one of the mines?
  • Parkour with people being able to alter some of the levels
• Forum Account Creation.

This is just a list of Pros and Cons that I currently thought of.

 

Fix glitches on infection and lag spikes on opprison. More epic maps on infection, get cyp to get the plugin that the hackers ARE IMPOSSIBLE to hack and disable SPAWN KILLING.

The only cons I have.
- Major lag spikes on certain servers.
- Infection problems which have been ongoing, (Prestiges, spawnkilling and many more.)
- Not many US mods. :\

 

One really annoying bug in Prison: The Mining and efficiency glitch. Whenever one uses Super-Breaker or Giga-Drill Breaker, the Efficency of the Pickaxe/Shovel will disappear.
Although using /mcability works, this bug should be fixed.

1. Good connection/ddos protection
2. Variety of gamemodes
3. Some servers with decent builds
Cons:
1. Lots of problems with world guard and permissions on factions.
2. No more ranks/prestiges on op prison (Ares hasn't worked since release over half a year ago).
3. Outdated/nooby kitpvp map/server (needs reset and revamp)
4. 1.8. Omg this is the worst part.
5. Lack of mods. - too many gamemodes to moderate.
6. Lots of unnecessary gamemodes.
7. Lack of detail and old hub.
8. Messy alerts and notifications.

 

Promote more mods.

• OP Factions McMMO is screwed up.
• Factions spawn is screwed up.
• OP Factions red line is screwed up.
• OP Factions PvP is screwed up.
• Factions PvP is too OP with strength II.
• KitPvP has a terrible map.
• ArcherPvP has switcher arrows.
• You lose your levels on OP PvP if you die sometimes.
• OP PvP knockback sticks are terrible.
• Thorns V was a terrible addition on OP PvP.
• The community treats everyone like trash for mistakes (including myself).
• Skygrid has a terrible protection plug-in.
• Skyblock has a duplicating glitch.
• Skyblock still has players in Creative.
• Creative is filled with 5 year olds craving sex and attention.
• A lot of sub threads on the forums are screwed up.
• Hellblock is screwed up.
• Prison PvP is screwed up.
• Prison ranks are screwed up.
• Every person on Factions + KitPvP + OP Factions is a DDoSing skid.
• It's so easy to fake report a player.
• Survival is way too OP with /enchant and /god.
• Skyblock is too OP with /enchant and /god.
• Skygrid is way too OP with /enchant and /god.
• KitPvP voting rewards are glitched.
• The buycraft sells you Skywars money and Kit Tempest. lol?
• I'm surprised the server isn't called DramaVerse.
• The health indicators are glitched on KitPvP and OP PvP.
• You get kicked for flying for a LOT of things.
• The host is in the desert somewhere very, very far away.
• There are a lot of mobs under factions spawn.
• Potions do not work in Factions spawn (splash).
• The 2 game-mode rule limits moderators to their full potential.
• The Arena in KitPvP causes a lot of people to die in the mineshaft, including myself.
• It's extremely easy to make a money machine on OP PvP.
• Factions has no custom plug-ins.
• OP Factions blood moon plug-in doesn't even work.
• The economy on factions is screwed up because of a stupid shop mistake.
• Players are getting unbanned on the first day of their ban, learning nothing from their mistakes.
• Skywars's shop is really OP.
• In skywars you can use a TnT cannon to glitch out of the glass box before the game starts.
• Death items on creative.
• Lag machines on creative.
• So many sex advertisers on creative.
• A large amount of advertisers and account hackers which come to Mineverse.
• Needs better DDoS protection, it seems high at the moment but it could be better.
• More developers.
• More admins.
• Players losing ranks/plots
• Creative crashing randomly
• New infection maps needed
• Griefing on infection
• Factions has a terrible starting kit.
• It's so easy to grind money and voting keys if you AFk with alts on Prison.

Splash potions still don't work on KitPvP

 

That's not a problem, the players wanted them removed as they were too OP.

 

Oh, yeah I forgot that you could just be in a set of p iv with heaps of health pots and the fight would go on for ages.
But they could at least take them out of kits and vote rewards etc.
