look at their age, kids will be kids no matter what the word is in front of their in-game name. am i saying that there should be an age requirement for moderation? no. just a better selection of the ones we have and when enough proof is posted about one in particular not doing things correctly i feel that action should be taken towards them. i know what i was doing at age 15, and i certainly wasn't worried about moderating on a game that i play even if that was my "title" or "rank". just my opinion on the issue though. as the saying goes, kids will be kids.
im certainly not trying to deny someone something just solely based on their age, but we can't deny that their age plays a key factor in why things happen the way they do. anyone can play on the server long enough not get into any trouble and put in a perfect mod app. that doesn't mean they will uphold what they say on that application to any extent. when a moderator fails to do his/her job on this server, it falls back onto the higher ranking staff who accept such incompetence into a moderation position. the fact that some of us have had legit complaints about said moderators should be proof enough that something was overlooked in the process of giving them said moderation abilities. i mean if someone who is an adult, contacts a minor on this server, with bad intentions and ends up meeting them IRL and harm is caused, who gets in trouble also? MINEVERSE would. that's why i am deeply appalled that sexual solicitation is allowed to happen when a staff member is present and indeed notified multiple times of said issue. and then for said moderator to lie after the fact and say the player was muted for 6 hours when indeed he wasn't as he was still able to talk throughout the day is just ridiculous. and to think a "mute" is a viable consequence for sexual solicitation of a minor is downright unbelievable.
I'm sorry but I have to disagree with you. There are a lot of young people who are immature however our mods are mature. I think the main problem here is you not understanding the difference between having a bit of fun and being immature. Cypriotmerkz recruits all of the mods and until now the young mods are doing quite a good job. Where is your proof of the mod lying? Which mod was lying? Also if a kid decides to meet an adult irl then they should know all the risks first and should be accompanied by someone else... Also Cypriotmerkz and noobcrew (the owners) give warnings to the moderators and I'm pretty sure if they were "incompetent" then they would not be able to maintain the mineverse server.
I am not concerned with immature mods, but more with so many mods on servers.. BUT CREATIVE. Like. Creative has soo many rude people and say stuff like- Tpa for a S*x RP, or Tpa for a strip club with s*x rooms, or all them girls suck my D**k or ill fu*k*ng r*pe you.. Like. Ugh.
This sounds more like a 50/50 rant report, something you as a player can do is to screenshot/video this when is occurs and make a moderator report
