Cyp /Crew, I saw a thread similar to this on the skyblock forums, so I thought I would make one of my own here on mineverse . Recently, quite a lot of people have been getting banned, they have been making ban appeals, and I have realised that when they are making their ban appeals, most of them have answer no to the question. Did you read the rules ? No Most people are getting banned because they haven't read the rules, and then they get banned and probably think to themselves what have I done? When they do get banned. So it would be really handy for in the future that if you join the server, on the board where the portal is, it has signs saying to check out the rules, and a sign next to it saying right click to warp to the rules section, this will not only be helpful to help prevent people from getting banned, but will also help the moderators by getting more pressure off of their backs. I agree. Half of the players that get banned make an account on here just to get unbanned. If the rules were in various locations, there would be less bans/pressure.
Excellent idea. 75% Support But what if some are as lazy as havoc3421 who doesn't want to read em? They won't even pay attention to the board doe...some players :P
OR maybe, instead of making it an option we can force them to shove rules down their throat! Have a little rule board then a quiz. Get the answers right, maybe get some free money or something, get it wrong and you fall into a pit of sadness.
I have been on a server like this. It was kind of annoying but it does work. I can guarantee that half of the kids out there still won't read and still won't care. Way too impatient to read a whole rule board even if it's right on front of them. I've been in /v at my tutorial/rules section and watched players just run past, even though they have to pass it all, even call them out on it, most don't care. But I do support either that or every new player spawning with a rule book so no one can say "I didn't know".
