Hello. This thread is more of a question than anything else. Is bannable? It is classed as "Scamming." In my eyes, this is the most pointless ban.
1. It's a cruel joke 2. No one deserves to be tricked into crashing their games. There is no argument to this.
scam n., v. scammed, scam•ming.n. 1. a fraudulent scheme; swindle. v.t. 2. to cheat; defraud. swindle v. swin·dled, swin·dling, swin·dles v.tr. 1. To cheat or defraud of money or property. 2. To obtain by fraudulent means: swindled money from the company. v.intr. To practice fraud as a means of obtaining money or property. n. The act or an instance of swindling. @Paradox
It is though, cause hackers usually end up banned anyway, they then learn their lesson, well. most of them anyway, and most people really wouldn't fall for this trick, unless their little, and they don't really have much of an understanding.
I don't see how this is ban worthy, but yeah. I also don't see how this is classified as 'scamming' especially since people can boost auctions to high prices and have someone bid over that accidently using /bid and that not be classified as a 'scam'.
You're still Global Mod, or at least you still have the title. It could be classified as scam, but still it isn't a 100% scam, you shouldn't try tricking someone like that, anyways.
