Hi, my name is Jakob, and this is my moderator application. I put quite a bit of time thinking through these questions so I hope you enjoy it! How old are you?: Currently I am 13 years of age, born in March of 2001. Though I may be young, I can prove with my responsibility & maturity that I am indeed ready for a moderating job, hopefully ready to start here, at Mineverse. Your in-game name: As my username on the forums suggests, my IGN is ElitezJakob. What timezone are you in?: Currently I stand in Pacific Standard Time (-8 hrs). While a lot of people live in EST, I can help out during the after hours. For example, when it's 9 PM here in California, a moderator in Florida (EST) is lying down in bed going to bed because its 12 AM over there. So while they're in bed, I can help out while they're offline, especially during the weekend. What country do you live in?: As of this post, I currently live in California, which as the question states is in the United States. What languages do you speak?: Unfortunately I currently only speak English, though I am considering taking a Spanish course either next year or the year after, but unfortunately yes, I'm not multilingual. Why do you think you should become a mod?: Alrighty, here's the long one. I believe that I should become a moderator because even though I am young, I'm a mature, responsible, and trustworthy person. Knowing that with great power as a moderator comes responsibility, I may take time to adjust as I've never been a moderator before, but I believe that with time I can be a great team member. With all of these traits, of course, you need manners and politeness. Lots of people think that mature & responsible people are "no fun" and "not polite", however, I digress. Being as I am I was raised to be polite to all people shape and form, so whether you're nice or rude, it's my responsibility to remain firm & mature and deal with you in a polite manner. Nonetheless, there are lots of traits you need to be a moderator. While I believe that I have lots of traits, I think that I can make a great addition to the team with my helpful ideas & personality. How long can you be active on the server everyday?: Currently it may be a weird schedule to be on the server because my family is split apart so I jump back and forth, but during the week days I'll probably be on anywhere from 2:30- 6:00 PM, with the exception of Wednesdays which will probably be anywhere from 1:30 - 6:00 PM. Besides that, during the weekends I can and will devote my time towards the server as much as possible. How long have you been playing Mineverse?: I've only been on the server for a good week now, but I have gotten used to be under the works of NoobCrew's & Cypriot's rules from the Skyblock server, which I've been on for months now. But even though I haven't been on the server for very long, I'm sure that like I said, with time, I can adjust. Do you have any past experience as a moderator?: Unfortunately, I have not. I've had a hard time finding servers to moderate due to my young age, but, you have to start somewhere, right? I agree with BlueberryWaffle, you should spend more time on the forums and become an active member/well known member. :p Secondly, this is a really nice mod app, however you don't need to add much detail to the first few questions; it is nice having a few formal answers and vocabulary however it does not need to be a long sentence explaining where you live/how old you are. Other than that, 100% support and good luck!
I understand what you mean. I feel like I'm getting more into the server now that I've played on it for a bit. But, like you said how old I am & such doesn't need too long of an explanation, nevertheless I'll look over my application in a bit and I'll try and make some changes. Thank you for your input!
