WELL! if they were banned they have learned their leason and if not consequently they will receive a permanent ban . but ime not so sure that people are as ... persistant to disobey the rules after they were banned as they used to be.

at least separate the punishments from each other according to the severity of the offence . EG : hacked piece - a week , again - permanent . kill aura/ glide / regen - 3 hours - then a week - then permanent .

Then everything becomes a tempban. Noobcrew did that, made everything temps, and none, I'm serious here, none of the mods liked it.

I must say, I agree with Parkour here. The lesson is learned through making the appeal, whether it's written 2 hours after the ban or 2 weeks, the lesson is learned or it isn't, and it's shown in the person's appeal.

This thread was made so @Conor Walton could explain something he thinks is wrong (which I think is not correct). I agree with MrParkour 100% on this. If someone actually cares enough to make a long and thoughtful appeal, they deserve to be unbanned.

It's not an argument. People are just voicing their opinions, which as far as I am concerned, isn't against the forum rules.

I am going to state my opinion also. I disagree with this suggestion. Like MrParkourGuy said above, it doesn't matter how long it takes for a user to get unbanned. What matters is, whether they learned there lesson or not. If they go back and repeat offend, they will be back here in a few days, banned and re-appealing. It is up for the banning mod to decide whether or not a user gets unbanned. Not how long it takes them to get unbanned. If both the banned user, and the banning mod are online at the same time, what's the problem of unbanning them if the banning mod accepts their appeal?
