More Staff online! Too Many Advertisers and Illegal Mod Users.

Actually, mods can't trace IPs.

 

Ban = IP-ban just if the person wants to ban-evade.

 

That's why you hire more moderators which is the point of this thread

 

We need more mods. I know the mods that we have are doing a pritty good job but the server is growing and the staff needs to too. I also understand it's hard to chose new mods but I think we really need more mods

Alright, so I'm gonna speak what's on my mind for a sec.
I got on MV after not playing for like a month and went on every server for like an hour. Every server I went on had advertisers, non stop adverising.
I say we need more mods, just because mods have "lives" doesn't mean we can't have more! Look we need mods on almost all day which means we need a lot of mods that all have different time zones. Simply get more mods.

I just said we need MORE mods not that they should be demoted or were bad... Before you reply to someone, read what you're replying to, gosh.

 

I thought in their old mod application, it says they will be on for like 3-5 hours in-game...
Where is the 3-5 hours?
We have 18 mods and none on?
Probably in their application, it says they will be on every day...
But, they aren't? Dafuq?
Either have more mods, or the old mods should be more active...

 

I do agree we need more moderators since it is a fairly large server. Most of us do have school and/or work which does take a good chunk of time in our lives like most other people, but that shouldn't be an excuse used all the time. I know I'm not that active because I moderate 3 other servers but today I went through about 20 advertising reports since it was filling up the section and none were resolved yet. If anything more mods should be promoted soon because the school year is coming close to an end for a lot of people in the northern hemisphere.

 

Guys We need to think of idea's on how to stop this. I was on prison and some kid advertised the same IP from the screenshot! I'll post it on this comment and at the top. This is sad This kid has been online for a long time doing this.

 

acctualy on my server all you have to do is /seen (name) wile a mod or owner and it will say there ip so im sure it works for Mineverse :D

I, for once, completely agree with this. I think we should have more moderators promoted. I feel that many are ready, and it would greatly benefit the server. As for the advertisement, I see these reports all the time. However, I don't have lobby perms, so I cannot take care of them.

 

Ace, you need to understand that not everyone can be trusted with the permissions staff receive. CypriotMerkz is cautious with whom he promotes.

Yes I Understand since it is quite obvious and I respect Cypriotmerkz for being cautious, but the main problem is how we can deal with it because it is getting more annoying even if it this is just a game. I mainly made this post on how we could get rid of this problem.

 

Yep Got online this time on kitpvp and the same IP was being advertised! Yay.... His name is Keitlen
Isn't the ban ip command for this to ban the people with same ip so they can't ban evade. Or is it for servers that were advertised? Also In case someone gets the wrong idea... yes I know there could be different player IP's
