MineVerse Current State

So I thought I'd bring it to everyone (including Cyp's) attention. I hate to be negative about this, but it is true. I have seen more than 3 great players quit in the last week due to staff not fulfilling their responsibilities and/or boredom. So I've made a very brief list of the things that need urgent fixing:

-The staff team. I've said this before, and I'll say it again, the staff team is not doing so well. I have nothing against any of them personally, but they are truly not taking care of the responsibilities that they applied to take care of. Some staff members are rarely seen. The only mods I've seen lately are Alexa, Pops, and Ares. On the forums, I've seen a few more, but honestly a few is not enough. MineVerse is a very big server, and with that comes an enormous responsibility of keeping it fun and hacker-free. Lately, I've been able to post a report and not get a response for days. Days!! It's really disappointing to see the server that once prospered begin to corrupt. Cyp, if you aren't going to promote new mods, then at least inform the current ones that they gotta step it up. That's all I have to say about this.

-Change. Change is good. Change is what MineVerse needs right now. I've heard more than a few complaints this week about how boring MineVerse has become. I hate to say it, but I have to agree. There is nothing new and nothing to look forward to. For example, I'm going to give you a summary of how my day goes when I log onto Kit. I grab some armor and potions, I jump down out of spawn, I get passed back and forth by a few hackers in kit fight, I nearly die from a hacker in protection 4, I ender pearl away and heal myself, I find some teammates, I smack my teammates around with steak for 5 minutes until I get bored, and then I leave. It's as simple as that. And let's face it... @The Real Xtreme has been wandering around the forums for days looking for something to do. We all know you're bored bud. Hang in there. ;) So again, that's all I'm gonna say.

I love this server, I love it to death. I love the players in it and I love the servers, but ever since our greatest staff members resigned, we have been snowballing into a black hole. I hate to surface the not-so-hidden complications that MineVerse is having right now, but I have to call it to attention. I hope these issues will be fixed, and I hope that MineVerse once again prospers. Thank you for your time.

It's this thread again.

 

This isn't to say that I'm quitting or to say that MineVerse is a bad server or anything like that other thread. This is to call to attention the problems that MineVerse is having and to hope that Cyp helps us to fix them.

 

That doesn't mean that Mineverse is dying...

 

The current state that MineVerse is in is bad. It is dying. Slowly but surely we are losing players and activity.

 

It's the opposite of improving. People are quitting.

 

We need more mods

Personally, I don't think the server's dying. :p But, I do see where you're coming from.

 

Did you care to read the thread, or did you just go straight to whatever source would prove me wrong?

 

Me either, but I think it needs to be improved or we're going to continue losing players.

You were stating that the server was dying, it is in no way, dying.

 

You just said in the thread that Mineverse is dying....

 

I did not say that the server is dying in my thread. I listed some things that could be improved, I stated why, and I concluded. That's all.

 

The server gets less than 2000 people a day I believe? It's never been very big in my opinion; maybe above average, but not huge. There really isn't anything to worry about.

 

My bad. That was an accident. :P I'll remove it.

 

It's currently the number one server in the world :P 2,000 people is a lot for 16 people to handle everyday.

 

No, just the number 1 server on a voting website, not the world.
