Hey. I just started going back on minecraft servers a few weeks ago after about a month of not. Although I can almost guarantee that you do not care about that I have made this forum to suggest what the title says. When I got back on Mineverse, I noticed that the plots had reset. Prior to them resetting, I had made a PvP arena (A rather large one) on my plot only to find out that PvP was not allowed. I had set up a wall of rules and such outside as well. My plan was that four people would go into game mode zero (survival) and they would chose their kit. There would be 3-4 kits available to someone with zero money (I hadn't gotten to a currency). Players would earn money based on kills, victories, etc. Money could be used to purchase better kits or items for future battles. Inside the arena I had made different "biomes" and each player would spawn in a different one. There were other features of less importance that I don't have the time to describe right now. The Moral of this story? I think and strongly recommend PvP be turned on so people like me can make these things in creative mode. I had done this once previously on another server and it was very fun. After all, I don't see any bad part of doing this unless there's a hidden "fee" that I don't know about. I really hope that this happens so I can make a PvP arena. I want to hear other suggestions in the comment section below! Vote and comment, I don't know how you feel unless you do! Thanks.
It created no problems like that on the server I had previously done it on and that was with many people doing it. I do not think it will create lag unless it's the structure itself that cause lag when you near it (This happens to my friend who has a laptop).
No support :/. The reason I say this is because a lot of people on Mineverse creative have a lot of "op items" For example a lot of people have Sharp 3000 or higher which is a one hit kill, or thorns 1000. These items would make PvP on creative pointless. Although besides that what your saying is a completely different game mode... Sounds like KitPvP. Stay gold.
There would be that one guy who puts God items in his/her enderchest and gets gapples, and bam, multiple kill streak (Definitely not me :t
No support! people are in creative... thats the the point of creative plots. If you want to pvp go to kit PvP or my pvp arena that is most likely going to be on sky grid. Kit PvP is basically everything that you stated above. A reward system for getting kills, getting to choose kits, different biomes (kinda), and having 4+ people. so that would be stupid and other people could get sharp V dia swords and OP armor and cheat. Okay this sounds like KitPvP so theres not really a point to this. Two banning someone won't do a thing people will tpa to each other other have /thru or /tp So good luck mate. Stay Gold
I respect your opinion but disagree. First of all, KitPvP is just a bunch of people with mismatched armor running around killing each other. In the arena I proposed there would be secret hoppers (chests can't be opened on other peoples' plots) that would have items like a better weapon, piece of armor, etc. You could use these items only in the game in which you found them. Also, hoppers would be moved to different places each round (some rounds may not have any secret hoppers). As well, players may have to do some parkour to get to the hopper. In addition, I would make rounds as matched as possible (elite kits vs. elite kits and starter kits vs. starter kits). There also, would be no diamond swords or armor (for now). People would have a choice to spend their money on items outside the arena like god items, heads, etc. (again, these items would NOT be able to be used in-game). Two; Just because people are in creative doesn't mean they wouldn't want something like this. And just because it's "similar" to kitPvP doesn't mean people wouldn't want it. I can explain more about the arena and how it's different from KitPvP just ask. Thank You.
I disagree with you. The reason I say this is because not everyone is going to cooperate with you. Some people may go in Gm1 just to kill people while they're in Gm0. As you said before you would kick them out/Ban them. That is impossible to ban someone from your plot. I am a God, for example you ban me from your plot for using god items. I do /tp Matthew355 and I'm in. Or I could do /thru to get back into your plot. No support... sorry Stay Gold
I understand where your coming from when you say what you say. When I said I'd ban them I meant write their name on a wall saying "This player cheated and can no longer play in the PvP arena". As for doing /tp (name) there's nothing I can do about that but possibly "report" them for spamming or purposely breaking the rules of a game I made just to bother me. Thanks for the input.
You bring up a good point but, I don't see a bad part in allowing this. Yes, Mineverse has a lot of PvP games and things like that but, it would be cool seeing people make custom arenas for PvP in creative mode. This could also be listed as another PvP gamemode on Mineverse. Thank you.
