I would like to become a mod because I want to give back to such an awesome community with amazing people I have met through here, and Minecraft in general. I feel like I should become a mod because I can also help out the community by catching the hackers who ruin the game fun of the game. I believe the more the mods, the better the community will become in terms of fairness of the game and the quality will increase as well. I have been gathering evidence,like screen shots and videos, from hackers on infection and I have been reporting them. I am a responsible individual as well because I can see situations occur and will often try to stop it if it gets too serious both in real life and on minecraft. These are some of the traits that I think Mods should have and how they reflect on me. Helpfulness: I love being helpful to people who need assistance. I like to help people in real life and online because of the feeling you get after helping a person who really needed it is great. I can help solve a problem reasonably and calmly. Being helpful is also the main reasons for there to be a Mod! Without a mod, there would be almost no one getting help from a mature individual who is willing to help. Maturity: I feel as if being mature is a big part of being a Mod. Being mature will help not only in game, but in real life also because more people will begin to respect you. Being mature means that you can respond appropriately to a situation without losing your cool. I've been told that I am mature by others and when they find out my age, they get surprised. They tell me that I act and seem more mature than some of the people they know that are older than me. This shows that maturity is not an age based thing. Reliable: I'm very reliable and if somebody is needing my assistance, I can come around to help them fairly quickly. I am on the Mineverse forums practically the whole day so I can find reports and take necessary action when needed. Honesty: I'm very honest in mostly everything be it school or online. I would be honest even if I would get into trouble because lying would make everything worse. Being honest is a big part of my personality because honesty took a major role on how I was raised. Friendly: I will admit that I am not the most friendly person in the world but I try my hardest to keep calm in every situation because losing your cool would make you seem very unprofessional and would quickly lose the trust of others. Experience: To be a Moderator, I would need to have server experience and luckily, I know how to use most of the commands as I have once started my own server before. I can help setup new perms if needed and also know how to use some of the more popular plugins ( Essentials, WorldEdit, Multiverse and WorldGuard) Efficient: I know how to be efficient in both schoolwork and gaming. I can Multitask quite well and I am always checking on the forums for practically the whole day and I can be active in game during 1-2 hour sessions twice a day on weekdays. The many reports I see just stack up sometimes and I understand some of the content need to be reviewed more but I can assist that and take necessary action more efficiently. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ How long can you be active on the server everyday? I can probably be active around 4 hours a day in game and can browse the forums for practically the whole day on the weekends. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ How long have you been playing Mineverse? 8 months now. I have ran a server of my own with around 10 people who were people I did not know and we had a pretty good time on it. Although this is a small amount of people, there is always room to improve and a place to start. Also started a server today (4/14/14) and I, with the help of others, are moderating it as of right now. First off, I would like to thank you for taking the time to read my Mod application. My name is Kyle but you can refer to me as "Puri". I first got Minecraft at around 1.2.5 update and have seen a community grow. I first started to only play single player and got really tired of that because it started to become boring and stale with nothing much to do so, for a while and I just dropped the game. After a while, I heard of all the cool new features that came with the 1.5.2 update and that is when I really got back into it. I then started to explore servers on multiplayer and found Infection on Minetime. I found a cool group of friends there and we then found this server! I've been playing on this server for a long time and I have seen people come and go from the server but made new friends here too! I have also been into gaming since I was extremely young (Around 4) so I have been with the gaming community for a long time.
