I always used 1.7.9 and it has never lagged before, but just recently, we were required to have 1.8 or 1.8.1 to enter the lobby, when I started playing with it on OP prison It had a lag spike every 3-5 seconds, I would like to propose a suggestion that we continue to allow 1.7.9 and higher to enter Mineverse. Download optifine. Also, I think it's better. I was on opprison today for an hour and had no problems. There has been a large amount of threads on the 'lag' that the versions are causing.

I recommend using 1.8.1 Optifine Ultra.

Something that reduces lag and adds more FPS. Also allows you to Zoom and customise your MC.

 

I heard it was a hack client

 

You cant use 1.7 unless you are using a hacked client with 1.8 configs.
