let us use 1.7 and 1.8, 1.8 SUCKS!!!!! im thinking about quitting for a 1.7 server

first of all. all i pretty much do on this server is pvp and i pvp on 1.7.10 so i can use forge with my mods like damage indicators, armor hud, potion hud and optifine but when i get on 1.8 cause THE SERVER MAKES ME i dont have any of my mods and forge crashes on me with 1.8.

 

I can teach you how to convert different versions mods to 1.8 if you want, other than that I don't see why you're quitting, every server will have to become 1.8 and so on in time.

 

i have mods for 1.8 to use but forge doesnt recognize them and when i try to launch minecraft with forge on 1.8 it crashes

 

Download ForgeModLoader(Forge 1.7+1.8 ModLoader), it's compatible with 1.8 mods, but just go in .minecraft and make a new "mods" folder and put all the mods in there, delete the other one.

 

well first i need to find the downloads for potion hud and armor hud on 1.8

 

The 1.7 versions work on 1.8, as there's no differentiate in the code for the mod/version.

 

so i can use all my 1.7 mods on 1.8

@Vamp ok i have all the mods i wan so do i have all the mods on my desktop when i click install when i have FML opened or do i put all the mods in mods folder
